  • Going Beyond the Basics: GDPR for Governance and Compliance Executives and Staff:
The GDPR, Article 37, requires training It mandates that the Data Protection Officer oversee the training to raise awareness and train the staff involved in data processing operations. The ACDG training will explore and provide guidance on how this relates to Article 43, which refers to the Binding Corporate Rules (BCRs), and how the US-EU Privacy Shield Framework is triggered?
  • Privacy and Data Protection Laws and Standards in Latin America
ACDG training will also guide that participants on how to reconcile the old data privacy laws and regulations with the new ones. How does GDPR affect Latin American countries, including Brazil, and what does the future there hold? You will learn about the Brazil law, the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD), and about the enforcement prospects for affected institutions and individuals. You will also learn about the links of the laws, regulations and standards in other countries to GDPR.

ABOUT ADCG TRAINING

ADCG instructors are chosen for their extensive experience and ability to teach and present the approved curriculum in an easy way and understandable way to enhance retention. We strive to make the content and the live or virtual classroom experience enjoyable and actionable.

At ADCG we know it is not possible to take a course that stays relevant forever. There are several options to stay up to date. Members will be invited to attend an update webinar once each quarter. Relevant new laws, regulations and standards will be included in the courses, including for on-demand courses).

Yes, for virtual events certificates are emailed. For live events certificates are printed and available at the training venue. Certain courses will be designated Certificate Courses. They involve a knowledge check. The Certificate for the successful completion of the course and the knowledge check will be printed certificates and delivered to the attendee. Framing options are available.

Curriculum is developed in consultation with subject matter experts and coordinated with instructional designers and developers. A complete review is always performed by at least one other subject matter expert after the curriculum is close to completion.

All courses, free and paid, receive an ADCG Certificate of Completion which may be utilized to report continuing education. Some ADCG conferences and seminars will offer CPE and CLE credits. If an attendee wishes to have CLE or CPE credits, he or she may indicate that at registration.

Certain courses, called Certificate Courses, which are part of the process to earn a Certificate, have “knowledge checks” which can be taken often as necessary to achieve a passing score of 75% .
