COURSE DETAILS

Approximately 2 hours, 20 short modules which convey the concepts used in the discipline called cybersecurity defense. By gaining a firm understanding of these concepts, you will be ready for Module 2.

The Threat Landscape, learn what business leaders and decision makers need to know about protective security steps to take to counter identified threats to their digital infrastructure.
In today’s environment, the whole organization is dependent, sometimes blindly, on the IT department. The threats that an organization faces are growing and becoming more sophisticated. Only a portion of the threats can be thwarted by firewalls, hardware or technological solutions.
The human factor is often the missing element in many of the most publicized breaches. This is why educating all board members and key executives on being active and knowledgeable participants in a company’s commitment to compliance, hygiene, privacy, and data protection is the next big thing.
Under many new laws and regulatory announcements, board members and an organization’s executives are ultimately responsible
for cybersecurity lapses. In some cases, new laws specifically require board members to acknowledge in writing the sufficiency of an
organizations cybersecurity, privacy and data protection policies.
