In this session of the Ankura CMMC series, a panel of seasoned cyber professionals and legal counsel with experience advising clients in the defense space will address organizations that may not be sure if they will be required to comply with the CMMC. The webinar is tailored to organizations such as foreign entities, universities, and commercial off the shelf (COTS) suppliers who may not traditionally consider themselves part of the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) but would like to know more. It will also address organizations who may supply a DIB company and don’t consider their product or service to be part of the CMMC requirements.

Randy assists companies, organizations, investors, and counsel to navigate complex risks arising from national security concerns (including the Committee on Foreign Investment in the US (CFIUS) and US trade controls); government and regulatory investigations and audits; and public and fiscal integrity issues.

Philip Higginbotham is a Program Manager and Cyber Analyst with Scientific Research Corporation (SRC). He is one of the founding members of the National Defense Cyber Alliance (NDCA), which is the FBI’s new cyber initiative that co-locates US Government and Cleared Contractor in cleared space to work jointly on threats targeting the Defense Industrial Base (DIB). The NDCA encompasses partners from every facet of the DIB community, currently including one University Affiliated Research Center (UARC). The NDCA’s mission falls hand-in-hand with the adaptation and compliance of the CMMC model.
Phil has over 15 years of experience in the Intelligence Community, including work with the National CounterterrorismCenter (NCTC), FBI Headquarters and Field Offices, the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and Army Threat Systems Management Office (TSMO). His main expertise is in Cyber-Counterintelligence and he has help stand up numerous Cyber-CI programs for multiple agencies throughout his career.
